My name is Elaine, I am a fully trained Reiki Therapist.
I have always had an interest in providing support to people.
Whilst working at an adult learning college, I was given the opportunity to study Counselling, in which I gained qualifications at both Levels 2 & 3.
My experience within this field has proven useful when providing Reiki treatments as both empathy and understanding are very important factors.
My business, Reiki Therapy and Healing is newly formed and based in Broseley, Shropshire.
My desire to become a Reiki Therapist stems back almost 18 months now, when one of my close friends received a Reiki treatment following a recent operation, she was blown away by just how great the experience was.
Having heard and read about Reiki and its benefits, I decided to have a treatment myself having been dealing with personal health issues of my own. Following the treatment, and how this made me feel, I embarked on reading into this type of therapy, and the decision was made that I wanted to progress towards becoming a Reiki Therapist.
In June 2024, I enrolled myself on a course to train for my First Degree qualification, which provides you with an introduction to the art of Reiki Therapy and the properties surrounding this, as well as learning how to conduct my own daily energy meditation exercises.
In January 2025, I continued my journey by undertaking my Second Degree, which now sees me achieve the goal that I initially set out, in becoming a Reiki Therapist.
I am now fully insured to carry out Reiki treatments.
Since completing my Second Degree, I now have a deeper understanding of Reiki and the varied techniques available.
These include the use of symbols and distance healing and the use of "the many hands" technique.
